The 4th World Philanthropy Forum opened in Shenzhen in 2019

On September 5, 2019, the 4th World Philanthropy Forum, co-hosted by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Tsinghua University, the University of Hong Kong, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and co-organized by the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, opened in Shenzhen. Li Xiaolin, President of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Co-Chair of the Forum, presided over the keynote speech session. Li Bin, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, delivered a keynote speech titled "Writing a New Chapter in Philanthropy". Former Prime Minister of Hungary Peter Medgyessy and Ai Xuefeng, Vice Mayor of Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, respectively gave addresses. Professor Agnes K.Y. Au, Vice President of the University of Hong Kong, attended the Forum and delivered a speech, while President Zhang Xiang congratulated the success of the Forum through a video message. Peter Medgyessy delivered a keynote speech titled "Leveraging Financial Power for a Better Society: Lessons from the Hungarian Economic Model".
